Orange and Alcatel-Lucent telehealth cooperation agreement

Orange and Alcatel-Lucent have signed a cooperation agreement "to address the healthcare challenges in Europe and emerging markets. The two companies will develop and jointly deliver the next wave of innovative solutions enabling e-Health and enhanced assisted living." It's a locigal response to the recent declarations of GE, Intel and Philips for these companies to push ahead with their own alliances if they do not want to be left behind. Fine words in the press release but can they deliver on a health agenda?
