Proton Healthcare, a Dubai-based research and development company, has appointed [pressure area care specialist] Pegasus for the launch of its new home health monitoring range. Proton is aiming to become UK brand leader for high-street chemists' sales of blood pressure monitors, body fat analyser scales and digital thermometers...presumably the first of a series of products for home management and monitoring. [So someone believes there is a direct-to-consumer market for health monitoring devices...let's hope they have very deep pockets and matching persistence.] Pegasus press release.
