Short listed companies for Remote Telemonitoring Northern Ireland Service announced

PDF E-mail
Monday, 22 June 2009 07:50

The procurement process for the provider of the Remote Telemonitoring Northern Ireland (RTNI) Managed Service creaked on to its next stage on Friday with the posting of the short list on the European Centre for Connected Health (ECCH) website. And the final four are:

  • Robert Bosch GmbH with McElwaine Smart
  • British Telecommunications plc (BT) with Home Telehealth Limited
  • Hewlett Packard Limited with Honeywell HomMed, Intel and Home Telehealth Limited
  • TF3 consortium comprising Tunstall Healthcare (UK) Limited (Tunstall), Fold Housing Association Limited (Fold) and Silicon and Software Systems Limited (S3)
Full announcement here.

It's good to see the 'big players' recognising that they need help from smaller ones with on-the-ground delivery experience, as was pointed out in Telecare Aware when the long list was announced in December 2008.
