Richard Humphries, ex-CSIP, now King’s Fund Senior Fellow in Social Care, anticipating UK Government announcements about future social care options highlights 'telecare and prevention' as important elements for the future. Of course, the pre-publication floating of the idea that an 'inheritance levy' of up to £12,000 to pay for care is one of the options that may be proposed has wiped out any consideration of the cost-saving options.
