Reading past the press release hype (“Chicago-based Carematix is the first and largest telehealth monitoring company to use wireless technology to improve the patient experience, which results in the highest level of patient self-compliance and best outcomes. Carematix introduced the first glucose monitor that wirelessly and automatically sends readings to the caregiver. Today, the company offers a wide range of wireless monitors, including weight scales, pulse oximeters, glycometers and blood pressure units.”) it is significant that the company is building its management team, presumably in preparation for an expansion in the market.
